Pervasive Computing Part-1

Pervasive computing is rapidly developing field of Information technology. Term referees to use of information technology in human life using modern devices. Pervasive Computing previously known as Ubiquitous computing is a post-desktop model of human-computer interaction. Pervasive computing is the trend in which connected computing devices in the environment are used.

INDIA is developing country. We can use pervasive computing technologies for the better life of Indian nationals. The aim of this article is to provide a review of developments in the field of pervasive computing. This article initially discusses what is pervasive computing? Gives information about pervasive computing, Security in pervasive computing, Future of pervasive computing.

1. Introduction

Pervasive computing is a post-desktop model of human-computer interaction in which information processing has been thoroughly integrated into everyday objects and activities. A trend being brought about by a convergence of advanced electronic - and particularly, wireless - technologies and the Internet. Pervasive computing is modern field in which many computational devices used to process information.

It is not mandatory that u should know every device that collects information. Without your knowledge information can be gathered. If you see around yourself you will observe that, increasing integration of information technology into people’s lives and environments. IT is only possible because growth of microprocessors which have inbuilt facility of communication. These microprocessors have communication facility and it can be used to develop pervasive computing system.
